Moth Drakula - Dig a Little Deeper c40

In late December 2022, following a near sixteen-year hiatus, Moth Drakula were approached by Gerritt/Misanthropic Agenda to embark on a summer west coast tour. This invitation set off a new wave of writing and recording that led to numerous recordings released in 2023 and some which are still pending. This regeneration inspired the group to orchestrate their purely harsh improvisational sets into more cohesive pieces of sonic annihilation and illumination. A new clarity allowed special care to be taken in sharpening various elements and themes featured in their previous endeavors to be rephrased in a vernacular which is wholly new but with a familiar accent that is purely Moth Drakula.

Included on this cassette are two live sets from 2023. One from the aforementioned tour which was recorded at Seizure Palace in Portland, OR and another from the abandoned halls of the Olomana School for Wayward Souls in Honolulu, HI.
